This year again puracon will participate in the World’s Largest Spine Exhibition of the North American Spine Society NASS. It is recognized as the premier meeting in spine, offering the latest technological trends.

On the 10th and 11th of September 2019 the Swiss Medtech Expo took place in Lucerne, where we participated for the first time as an exhibitor. It was an exciting event and we were very happy to meet many acquaintances. At the same time, we were able to make numerous new contacts. Many thanks to the participants who visited us at our stand!

This year again, puracon’s employees had the opportunity to demonstrate their special abilities during the company outing in July:

6 teams took part in the crime rally across the city centre of Rosenheim.

The winning team was the first to identify the “perpetrator” by covering more than 6 km to interview witnesses and collect evidence.

Afterwards, all participants were invited to enjoy a well-deserved meal. The day ended with a cosy get-together.

 

With the help of our camera-supported barcode verifier, we at puracon actively support you in the implementation of barcode verification and validation in order to meet the extended requirements for the identifiability and traceability of medical devices (e.g. UDI).

In addition to previous years and under the new leadership of Nicole Wudl, our quality management and quality assurance team, managed to score the annual ISO 13485/2016 certificate, in context of our DEKRA audit and revealed, yet again, no deviations. Since the acquisition by SHS in 2016, we can proudly look back at a history of DEKRA with ZERO deviations, as well as successful FDA audits. The existential meaning of quality for our success, is deeply rooted in our employees´ DNA. Our auditors were very impressed by the passion, seriousness and discipline our employees perform and live, concerning quality. Quality is the product of passionately paying attention to details. It´s the foundation of our business model, in order to provide our customers with the highest security and reliability.
